The breakfast was served in the garden and the food was outstanding. I loved that it had stunning and beautiful location still close to busier areas. What's more, it was near to Aira Force and Ullswater, and the local pubs and local walks❤👌

Excellent place with great wi-fi, outdoor dining area, and helpful staff. My first stay, they shared local info which was invaluable. I highly recommend their homemade breakfast! I'm coming back for Christmas.

It was based in lovely building in a stunning location, in rural Lake District. Further, it was not far from Keswick, the local pubs and local walks and Ullswater.

The B&B offers a cozy Double or Twin room with solid beds and sufficient space for a solo traveler. It's nestled close to excellent walking paths that provide easy access to areas like Helvellyn.

The duvet cover on the king-sized mattress felt overly thin, I struggled to stay warm without a proper duvet. The shower lacked power, and the bath was merely lukewarm, which left a lot to be desired after a long day. Wi-Fi reception was weak, and the common seating area on the upper floor was quite uncomfortable, reducing appeal for unwinding after a hike.

Our family loved the tranquil location-perfect for wildlife watching! The spacious rooms were charming, and having breakfast with daily muffins was good. Plus, exploring nearby Gowbarrow with fine views was a highlight. Jim's hospitality kept our stay relaxed and enjoyable.

My kids wished there were more activities for them around.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious homemade breakfast and the fantastic packed lunches for our hiking trips. The garden area was lovely for relaxing, with a cozy seating spot under a tree and beautiful flowers all around. A small fridge in the room would have been super handy, but it didn't take away from the great experience. 😊

Consider pre-ordering breakfast for convenience, especially if you're early risers and want to maximize your time outdoors.

Fine, Fine, Fine

I was blown away by the rich and unique decor that reflects the owners' adventures in Tanzania! Each morning, I delighted in an array of homemade breakfast options, especially those fresh muffins, made my days even brighter. Plus, the chance to enjoy wildlife viewing right from my window was magical, I was mesmerized by the charming red squirrels and local birds while sipping my coffee!

The location allowed for beautiful views, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere for relaxation after our walks. the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak, which was a bit inconvenient, but we didn't let that ruin our experience. a lovely retreat in the heart of nature, perfect for making memories.

The garden room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the secluded garden filled with birds. Breakfast was a highlight, with homemade muffins and the best sausages ever!

Lovely stay with warm hosts

Jim and Tine were super friendly and helpful during my 2 nights here. The room was comfy, and I loved relaxing in the garden watching the birds while I had breakfast. They even helped dry my wet gear after a hike! Only thing was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it wasn't a big deal for me.
